Booking and payment conditions

  • A deposit of 30% of the total cost of the stay is required at the time of confirmation, except in the case of bookings made less than fifteen days before the start of the stay, in which case 100% of the total cost is due at the time of confirmation.
  • The balance must be paid at least 15 days before the start of your stay.
  • We accept payment by bank transfer in TND, $CAD, EUR and $USD, as well as by credit card or Paypal in $CAD and EUR.

Cancellation policy

In the event of cancellation by the customer before the start of the holiday or in the event of early departure during the holiday, our cancellation charges are as follows:

  • Up to 30 days before arrival : full refund of deposit.
  • 15 to 29 days prior to arrival: 50% refund of any amount paid to Sawa Taste of Tunisia 
  • 7 to 14 days prior to arrival: 20% refund of any amount paid to Sawa Taste of Tunisia
  • 6 days before arrival, no show, or early departure: no refund possible

If you are unable to take part in a holiday you have booked, you can arrange for someone else to take your place, and your payments may be fully transferable to that person.

Cancellation and change of stay

We are a small organization working exclusively with independent artisans and service providers, most of whom are individuals or families. It is possible that some parts of a tour may not be available during your exact dates. For example if one of our collaborators is ill or unavailable, they often do not have someone to replace them. In such cases we undertake to replace the experience with similar activities in the same spirit.

In the event circumstances beyond our control make your stay impossible, we will refund all sums paid, or agree with you to postpone the stay to a later date, at your convenience and free of charge.

  • Flights

  • Alcoholic beverages you wish to consume during your stay (other than wine tastings)
